The Opportunity:

We're seeking a talented backend engineer to build and scale core systems powering our AI-first sales platform. As a key individual contributor, you'll develop critical components of our seller co-pilot system, working at the intersection of backend services and AI infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to own end-to-end development of systems that are transforming how B2B sales teams operate.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Build scalable, easy-to-maintain backend services that power our AI co-pilot features using Python/Go

  • Implement elegant event-driven systems using AWS services for real-time AI processing

  • Create robust data pipelines and APIs that handle complex sales workflow automation

  • Design and implement efficient database schemas and data flows across MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and Redis

  • Build monitoring and observability solutions for production systems

  • Contribute to technical design discussions and architectural decisions

  • Work closely with product and AI teams to ship impactful features and scale AI capabilities

  • Use modern developer tools like Cursor and CoPilot to maximize engineering productivity

Who You Are:

  • Strong expertise in building production-grade backend systems with Python and/or Go

  • Solid experience with distributed systems and event-driven architectures

  • Proven track record with AWS services and cloud-native development

  • Strong foundation in database technologies (MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Redis)

  • Comfortable with ambiguity and capable of writing clean, maintainable code that solves real user problems

  • Bias for action and ability to move fast while maintaining high-quality standards

  • A strong communicator who can collaborate effectively across teams

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 2+ years as a senior backend engineer

  • Strong background in API design and implementation

  • Deep expertise with AWS services and cloud-native development

  • Experience building and scaling distributed backend systems

  • Experience with modern database technologies and data pipelines

  • Exposure to CRM (Salesforce, etc.) systems or similar B2B products is highly preferred

  • Experience with AI/ML systems integration is also preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

  • A proven track record of thriving in early-stage startup environments, showing resilience and flexibility in the face of uncertainty
