Job Title: Tax Product Development Intern

Location: San Francisco, CA (In-office)

Hours: 15-30 hours per week

About the Role:

We’re looking for a motivated intern to join our team in San Francisco and assist in the development of our tax product. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience with developing tax products within a collaborative and dynamic environment that integrates AI technology.

Responsibilities:

• Support the initial stages of annotating tax forms to enhance data quality and functionality.
• Upload tax forms using our internal tools and generate annotations to improve product accuracy.
• Assist in organizing and managing tax form data.
• Learn and apply knowledge about tax schemas, tax forms, and their structure to support product development.
• Collaborate with the team to refine our tools and processes, including exploring ways AI can enhance automation and efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a program in finance, accounting, data science, computer science, or a related field.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a strong interest in tax, AI, and product development.
• Comfortable with learning new software and tools.
• Basic understanding of tax forms, schemas, or AI technology is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work in our San Francisco office.
