CTO/Founding Lead Developer

About Us:
We are an early-stage health tech startup developing cutting-edge AI/ML solutions that will impact how neurodiverse conditions (such as autism, ADHD, and more) are assessed and managed. We aim to empower individuals with early detection insights and personalised recommendations for monitoring and managing their neurodiverse conditions. We are looking for an innovative Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead the technical development of our platform, which will integrate our AI models and provide users with easy-to-use tools for assessment and recommendations.

Role Overview:
As the CTO, you will oversee the development of a scalable digital platform that integrates AI/ML models to assess neurodiverse conditions from audio and video recordings. You will lead the technical strategy and execution, focusing on building a secure, user-friendly, and compliant health tech platform. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the technological direction and ensuring the platform meets performance, security, and compliance standards.

As the CTO, you will be the key technical leader responsible for driving the strategy, design, and execution of our AI/ML platform. You will work closely with the 2 co-founders, product, and clinical teams to ensure our technology meets the highest standards for accuracy, security, and clinical relevance. This is a hands-on leadership role in a fast-paced environment, where you will need to balance strategic vision with detailed execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of a scalable, cloud-based platform that integrates AI/ML models for neurodiverse condition detection.
• Oversee the integration of the user-facing platform where individuals can record audio/video, receive AI-powered assessments, and view condition management recommendations.
• Define and drive the company’s technology roadmap and strategy in alignment with product goals and clinical needs.
• Ensure scalable and secure infrastructure, capable of handling large-scale data and delivering reliable real-time predictions.
• Select and manage appropriate technology stacks, frameworks, and tools for platform development (e.g., Node.js, Python, React, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes).
• Ensure the platform is compliant with healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) and meets industry standards for security and privacy.

About You:

• At least three years of development and engineering experience
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React, Django and languages like Python, Java, or Node.js
• Experience working with cloud computing on AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
