We are looking for an experienced Senior Marketing Technology Manager to join the growing Marketing team at Blacklane. This is a hands-on technical position with a focus on Performance Marketing.

As a Senior Marketing Technology Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of marketing technology strategies for the Performance Marketing team. You will work closely with cross-functional teams (including but not limited to Product, Engineering, Data, and Legal) to ensure that all marketing technology initiatives align with business goals and objectives. Your role will involve assessing the effectiveness of current marketing technology systems, identifying areas of improvement, and leading the adoption of new tools and platforms where needed. You will be responsible for managing vendor relationships and staying up-to-date with emerging technologies. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in marketing technology and possess excellent leadership skills.

YOUR CHALLENGE:

  • Develop and implement marketing technology strategies for the Performance Marketing team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Data, Legal) to align marketing technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Assess current marketing technology systems, identify improvement areas, and lead the adoption of new tools and platforms.
  • Manage vendor relationships and stay informed on emerging technologies.
  • Oversee digital marketing technology for the Blacklane website and apps, supporting channels like Paid & Organic Search, Social Media, Demand Gen, Connected TV, App Marketing, and Programmatic.
  • Work with the Data team to ensure reliable data delivery for the Performance Marketing team.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to implement and maintain systems for tracking and developing marketing campaigns and audiences.

ABOUT YOU:

  • Expertise in event-based product analytics on web and mobile.
  • Proficiency with web & app marketing tools such as Google Tag Manager & Firebase.
  • Experience with advertising platform APIs (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, Apple Search Ads).
  • Familiarity with mobile measurement platforms like AppsFlyer.
  • Experience with CDPs (e.g. Segment, Rudderstack etc.)
  • Understanding of SKAdNetwork (SKAN) and app SDKs.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience in AI, and introducing new Marketing technologies into the Marketing Tech Stack in order to drive business results.
  • Experience with business data visualization tools like Tableau and Mixpanel.
  • Previous experience with pixel integration and diagnostics on platforms like Meta and CTV.
  • Experience with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations
