About the Payroll team
The Payroll team is responsible for payroll processes, calculation of wages and ensuring that employees’ salaries are paid correctly and on schedule. The main tasks for a Payroll Associate are to support the organisation in payroll related matters, drive internal projects and process the monthly payroll for large companies within the Trustly group. The Payroll Associate contributes with payroll knowledge to the team.
What you'll do
- Payroll Service Delivery
- Ensure timely and correct payroll service to all Trustly entities
- Process end to end Payroll processes including all administration, activities and controls required in pre-payroll, payroll-run and post-payroll
- Take an active part in finding an efficient and clear split of work load within the payroll team
- Ensure timely and correct post Payroll reporting to external and internal stakeholders and authorities
- Manage pension, insurance and benefit administration
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the functions in Payroll software proposing changes to third party software provider
- Responsible for educating employees and managers in the time reporting system
- Responsible for support management, including queries from employees, managers and authorities
- Contribute with Payroll knowledge to more complex queries from the organization
- Involvement in projects within the Payroll function
- Ensure employees are paid accurately according to local legislation
- Maintain employee confidence and protect Payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Stakeholder management and working cross functionally with HR, Accounting, external payroll providers etc.
Who you are
- High School degree or above
- Education and preferably certification within Payroll
- Previous experience in payroll admin and processing
- Knowledge in Swedish law and regulation impacting Payroll
- Previous experience in Payroll in EMEA is meritorious but not a requirement
- Communication skills, ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels
- Structured work approach, ability to manage complex process flows and deliver administrative services with high quality
- Being structured, taking ownership, and staying curious are key attributes to make this role a success
- Fluent in English
