Full Stack Developer – AI EdTech Application (Chrome Extension)

We are seeking a talented Full Stack Developer to join our innovative team at Essay Eye, an AI-powered EdTech company. The ideal candidate will work closely with the CTO to develop and enhance our AI application, which includes both a web platform and a Chrome extension. This role offers long-term opportunities, with the potential for a partnership and equity share for the right person.

Key Responsibilities:
Square Integration: Implement subscription/checkout pages for both the website and Chrome extension.
Website Development: Integrate new pages (landing, FAQ, privacy, terms) and finalize the dashboard UI, reworking account details and removing unused items.
SendGrid Integration: Complete customer email templates, test opt-out/unsubscribe workflows, and develop a mass email strategy for teachers.
Chrome Extension: Build and submit the final version of the Chrome extension to the Chrome Web Store and integrate the link on the website.
AWS Server Upgrade: Upgrade the server to support more users.
SendGrid Upgrade: Upgrade to a basic account level.
Must-Have Skills:
Proficiency in HTML/CSS/JavaScript
Strong UX design skills
Node.js and MongoDB experience
Knowledge of Google APIs
Desired Skills:
Experience with Google Docs API and Google Classroom API
Familiarity with OAuth implementation
Ability to build a web app from the ground up, including database, web server framework, and front-end.

Location: Prefer Hybrid - Southern CA., but will consider remote applicants.
