Generative AI Engineer Intern

About the Role
As a Generative AI Intern at Xenara, you will work directly with our AI and engineering teams to develop, fine-tune, and deploy generative AI models. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with state-of-the-art technologies, contribute to exciting projects, and gain real-world experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Please Note: This internship is unpaid. However, interns who demonstrate strong performance and contribute meaningfully to our projects will be considered for a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits at the end of the internship.

Responsibilities

1. Assist in building, training, and optimizing generative AI models, such as GPT, DALL-E, and others.
2. Collaborate with the AI team to implement models that improve customer engagement.
3. Contribute to the development of creative applications for AI, such as text generation, image synthesis, and recommendation systems.
4. Conduct research on the latest advancements in generative AI and suggest ways to incorporate these findings into our projects.
5. Experiment with different algorithms and fine-tune models to enhance their performance and accuracy.
6. Work on data preprocessing, cleaning, and preparation for training generative models.

What We’re Looking For

1. Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field.
2. Strong interest in generative AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
3. Familiarity with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, etc.
4. Basic knowledge of NLP, image generation, or recommendation systems.
5. Coding experience with Python and data processing libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and explore new technologies.

Nice-to-Haves

1. Experience working with OpenAI APIs or similar generative AI platforms.
2. Knowledge of prompt engineering and fine-tuning techniques.
3. Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure) for model deployment.
