Backend Engineer

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Backend Engineer with 2 to 3 years of experience to
join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of user problems and the
ability to devise effective technical solutions. They should be eager to collaborate, take initiative,
and continuously improve their skills and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand problems and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
• Develop, test, and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
• Estimate deliverables accurately and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Take ownership of tasks and deliver high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.
• Actively seek and incorporate feedback to improve performance and deliverables.
• Stay curious and continuously learn new technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

• 2 to 5 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong understanding of user-centric design and problem-solving.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain backend services and APIs.
• Experience with [relevant technologies and frameworks, e.g., Golang, Node.js etc.].
• Good knowledge of database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Experience with GraphQL, Streaming systems and AWS.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to estimate project timelines and deliver on commitments.
• Experience in a product-based company is preferred.
• Positive attitude, willingness to ask questions, and openness to feedback.
