Software Engineer I (Full-stack)

LooprIQ Inspect is an AI application designed to automate quality and production processes on the factory floor. Using LooprIQ Inspect, customers can automate detection of defects in products, verify assembly of parts and much more.

We have built a cutting-edge micro-service architecture where we leverage latest computer vision AI models in the backend to run inference on real-time video, store inference results in a scalable middleware and present them to a user friendly front-end whose experience is optimized for operators using the app in a factory setting. Data from the app is stored in a noSQL database which can be easily connected to customer's ERP system to derive analytics.

Our stack is NodeJS + ReactJS for backend & front-end services, with each of them packaged & deployed as docker containers.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Work with multiple stakeholders like customers, data scientists & product lead to understand the problem we need to solve and develop functional feature specs & timelines

2. Lead ReactJS front-end development and own implementation of features and optimizations which solve key goals of the application

3. Become a subject matter expert for the component of the application which you own, driving design evolution and innovation

4. Deliver results in a highly dynamic and fast paced environment

Technical Requirements:

1. 2+ years of full-stack engineering experience on live production systems/applications

2. Expertise in ReactJS or related front-end Javascript frameworks.

3. Expertise with MongoDB or related relational SQL Database

4. Familiarity and experience in NodeJS

5. Knowledge and experience of docker to package and deploy services

6. Experience of standard software engineering practices such as writing clear design specs, unit testing, CI/CD etc
