Role Overview

We're seeking an exceptional business leader to join as COO and Cofounder. You'll partner with our technical CEO to drive NewzTiQ's growth from MVP to market leadership. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of personalized news consumption and build a significant business in the digital media space.

Primary Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

• Partner with CEO in setting company vision and strategy
• Lead go-to-market strategy and execution
• Drive business model development and validation
• Develop and execute growth strategies
• Build and manage key relationships with stakeholders

Product & Market Development

• Lead beta testing program and user acquisition
• Drive product-market fit validation
• Develop and execute user growth strategies
• Manage user feedback collection and analysis
• Guide product development based on market insights
• Create and implement marketing strategies

Business Operations

• Build and manage partnerships with publishers/content providers
• Develop and negotiate content licensing agreements
• Create and implement operational processes
• Manage legal and compliance requirements
• Handle financial planning and budgeting
• Lead non-technical hiring and team building

User Growth & Engagement

• Design and execute user acquisition strategies
• Build and manage user communities
• Drive user engagement and retention
• Develop content strategy
• Manage user communications and feedback loops

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in digital media, content platforms, or consumer tech
• Proven track record in business development or product management
• Experience in scaling user-focused products
• Track record of building and managing partnerships
• Startup experience preferred
