Full-Stack Engineer

As a member of the engineering team, you'll work closely with our founders and Android/iOS/Design folks to help us build incredible experiences for our web users.

Responsibilities

• Ownership of the entire stack (frontend + backend + databases). You're not expected to be an expert in any of these fields, but you should be competent enough to figure things out on the fly.
• Develop efficient and scalable APIs, leveraging technologies like GraphQL, to enable seamless data exchange between frontend and backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and mentoring other engineers to help them grow.

Ideal Candidate

• Architect, design, and implement end-to-end full stack applications that deliver exceptional user experiences.
• Strong experience in working with Typescript, React, Node.js, GraphQL and Postgres/MySQL.
• Experience in working with architecture and design of services and deployment on cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
• Familiar with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Delivery (CD) and previously worked with similar tools as TravisCI, Github Actions, DroneCI, CircleCI etc.
• Experience developing location-based services with Google Maps, Mapbox or similar frameworks
• Experience with relational databases and SQL
• Curiosity to learn things hands-on, apply, break, fix and iterate. We believe in moving fast, breaking things and fixing them - in that order.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred, but not required. Your work should speak for yourself.
