Backend Developer I

What we're looking for

We are looking for a Backend Developer who has experience in Python and Django to help us create and maintain distributed data pipelines and develop client SDKs. The ideal candidate is proactive, loves working on exciting backend challenges, and is ready to grow their skills in an agile and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain distributed data pipelines for our AI-driven systems.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication.
• Collaborate with the team to create client SDKs that integrate with our platform.
• Work with relational databases; write efficient SQL queries for data management and analysis.
• Assist in building scalable backend systems that meet the demands of our growing user base.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and standards are upheld.

Requirements:

• 0-2 years of experience in backend development.
• Strong programming skills in Python.
• Experience working with Django or any other web frameworks.
• Good understanding of SQL and ability to write efficient queries.
• Exposure to distributed systems or data pipelines is a plus.
• Eagerness to learn and grow with the team, taking on new challenges.
• Good communication skills and an ability to work in a team environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with other technologies like Celery, Redis, or any messaging systems.
• Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
• Prior experience working in a start up enviornment
• Working knowledge of Machine Learning and/or Data Science
