Responsibilities

Lead the design strategy and vision for Tradefolio’s platform.
Develop wireframes, prototypes, and user interface specifications.
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers and engineers, to ensure seamless implementation.
Stay updated on industry trends and apply best practices to enhance user engagement.

Requirements

Strong experience in UI/UX design with a proven portfolio of successful projects.
Live in the Mountain View/Palo Alto area and be available for on-site collaboration.
Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
Strong understanding of modern web and mobile design principles.
Experience with React and Node.js to facilitate better collaboration with the development team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Additional Beneficial Requirements

Experience with Fintech Design: Prior experience in designing for financial platforms or trading tools, ensuring the UI/UX supports data-heavy and interactive interfaces.
Knowledge of Prototyping Tools: Familiarity with advanced prototyping tools to create interactive prototypes and streamline feedback processes.
Understanding of Front-End Development: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to work more effectively with developers.
Experience Leading Design Teams: Proven leadership skills to mentor junior designers and guide the design direction for the company.
Accessibility Expertise: Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to create inclusive designs.
Adaptability to Agile Workflows: Ability to work in agile or rapid development environments with tight deadlines.
Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to use data and user feedback to inform design decisions.
Brand Design Experience: Skills in creating cohesive brand visuals and ensuring design consistency across all touchpoints.
Bachelor’s Degree in Design or Related Field: While experience is crucial, formal education can add to the candidate’s credentials.
