The Role



Your Mission

GotPhoto is looking for an enthusiastic IT & Security Specialist to join our IT team in Berlin to ensure the stability and security of our IT infrastructure and seamless technology support for our growing team.

As we grow and expand, we recognize the need for a dedicated IT & Security Specialist to join our team and optimize our IT systems while enhancing our security posture. This role will act as a central support for our IT operations and security protocols, providing expertise in system automation, security measures, and efficient IT support to empower cross-functional collaboration and protect our digital assets.

Responsibilities

• IT Infrastructure Management: Implement, maintain, and optimize IT systems including firewalls, servers, and networking equipment to ensure scalability and efficiency.

• Security Monitoring and Measures: Endpoint management, to protect against both internal and external security threats.

• Employee Onboarding & Equipment Setup: Manage hardware and software provisioning for new hires, ensuring smooth onboarding and offboarding processes and efficient equipment setup.

• Incident Response Management: Develop and lead protocols for responding to security breaches and IT failures, ensuring quick and effective resolution.

• Automation of IT & Security Operations: Streamline and automate routine tasks, including system updates, patch management, and vulnerability scanning, to increase efficiency and security.

We are looking for:

• IT & Security Systems Expertise: Strong background in cybersecurity tools, cloud security (AWS, GCP), and infrastructure management (Active Directory, MDM, SaaS provisioning).

• Problem-Solving Abilities: Proven skills in diagnosing and resolving complex IT and security issues.

• Risk Management & Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with compliance standards like SOC 2 and GDPR and experience implementing corresponding security controls.

• Experience in Automation: Proven expertise in automating IT processes, such as software updates, system monitoring, and other routine tasks.

• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience: 2-4 years in IT administration or systems management, preferably in SaaS or a tech-driven environment.

• Language Skills: Proficiency in English required; German skills are a plus.
