Senior Data Engineer - Spanish Speaker

The Analytics Engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable data models, building ETL processes, and creating dashboards/reports that drive business insights.

This role involves working closely with data engineers and scientists, ensuring high-quality data is available for analysis, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver actionable solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain data models and ETL processes using PySpark and Databricks for scalable solutions.
2. Create dashboards and reports utilizing Power BI for building visual reports with actionable insights.
3. Collaborate with data engineers and scientists to ensure data is available and accurate.
4. Write complex SQL queries for transforming data into business-ready formats.
5. Improve performance for data pipelines and reporting tools.
6. Understand business challenges and provide data-driven solutions.
7. Ensure compliance with data security and governance policies.

Qualifications:

1. Mid-level: 2+ years in data analytics or engineering or Senior-level: 4+ years of relevant experience.
2. Proficiency with Databricks, PySpark, and Power BI.
3. Strong SQL skills.
4. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
5. Expertise in data transformation and pipeline optimization.
6. Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
