Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable services for the core VideoDB product.
• Design and enhance distributed systems to maximize performance and scalability.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to implement features and ensure high standards of code quality and system reliability.

Technical Skills Required:

• Programming: Proficiency in Python; experience with other languages is a plus.
• Video Tech: Basic experience with FFmpeg and low-level video/audio libraries; knowledge of video codecs, streaming, etc., is advantageous.
• Distributed Systems: Proven track record of building and maintaining distributed, high-performing systems.
• Cloud: Expertise in AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
• Databases: Hands-on experience with both SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Operating Systems: Strong Linux environment experience.

Bonus Skills

• Proficiency in low-level programming languages as needed.
• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks.
