Astuto is establishing an engineering team in Bengaluru and is on the lookout for exceptional founding engineers to drive our vision.

Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Python Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Python,Flask, FastAPI, and database technologies (SQL/NoSQL).

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain backend services with python (FastAPI)
• Design, implement, and maintain RESTful web services and APIs to support various front-end applications
• Understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases, Redis and Kafka. Open to research and adopt new tech stack/s when needed
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality software.
• Follow agile development methodologies, participate in sprint planning, and contribute to the development process.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in both development and production environments

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Proven experience and deep understanding of python programming language, its idioms, and effective python coding practices.
• Good to have experience with FastAPI framework and background tasks
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, and the ability to optimize data storage and retrieval
• Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines. Good to have knowledge of Kubernetes
• Effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional team
