Who we are looking for:
VML is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior UX/UI Designer to join our growing team. We’re looking for a passionate individual with a strong portfolio and a proven track record of delivering exceptional user-centered designs. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of user experience principles, interaction design, and visual design, and be proficient in industry-standard design tools.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the design process: From user research and wireframing to prototyping and visual design, you will own the entire design process for a variety of digital products and platforms.
- Champion user-centered design: Conduct user research, usability testing, and A/B testing to ensure designs are intuitive, effective, and meet user needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into engaging user experiences.
- Create high-fidelity designs: Develop visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces, including wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and design specifications.
- Maintain design consistency: Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and design systems across all platforms and products.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Continuously research and explore new design trends, technologies, and best practices to inform design decisions.
- Mentor junior designers: Provide guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
- Present and defend design decisions: Articulate design rationale and present work to stakeholders, effectively communicating design choices and their impact on user experience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital products and platforms.
- Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping software.
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A passion for creating innovative and user-friendly designs.
- Advanced english.
