Your future contribution:

HomeToGo is looking for a German-speaking Junior Finance Manager. With your expertise, you will work within our Accounting team and will handle daily routine tasks to provide reliable and robust figures for our reporting (internal and external) and, based on those figures, you will make decisions to ensure HomeToGo’s success and growth. How you’ll add value:

• Checking and posting of incoming and outgoing invoices and receipts (upload to the invoice approval tool and book invoices in the ERP tool)
• Clearing our debtor and vendor accounts
• Upload and reconcile data from external payment provider
• Review travel expenses in our expense tool and take care of asset accounting
• Support senior colleagues in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Assist senior colleagues in the yearly audit processes
• Assist in administrative tasks (e.g. VAT filings and other statistical filings, business registration)

You’ll be successful in this role if you:

• You have 2-3 years of professional experience in accounting
• Are a team player and always eager to #enableeachothertosucceed
• Have fundamental knowledge of German VAT
• Have the ability to communicate in German and English both written and verbally
• Possess knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
• Have strong attention to details, a hands-on mentality with the capacity to deliver great results quickly
• Are able to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing
• Knowledge of SAP would be a strong plus
