Roles & Responsibilities:
Field Validation & Support:
- Perform field validation of BMS applications, including on-site testing and troubleshooting at customer locations, which may require travel and extended stays in client location.
- Provide field support for the configuration, flashing, and testing of IoT-enabled BMS systems.
- Assist in the supervision of hardware installation and packaging, including wiring and mounting of battery packs. Technical Assistance & Customer Interaction:
- Work closely with customers to understand their technical requirements and provide tailored solutions for their battery pack projects.
- Offer on-site support during the installation, commissioning, and validation phases of BMS integration into battery packs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BMS hardware and software in coordination with the engineering team. Technical Expertise & Development:
- Utilize expertise in C/C++ for the design and development of embedded systems based on platforms like Arduino, STM, Raspberry Pi, or ESP.
- Conduct PCB soldering, basic assembly, and component integration to ensure proper functionality of the BMS hardware.
- Simulate electronic circuits using tools such as Multisim and Proteus to validate designs before deployment.
- Use tools like multimeter and oscilloscopes to diagnose and rectify electronic issues on-site.
- Ensure the proper functioning of communication protocols such as CAN, UART, and SPI within the system. Others:
- Support R&D projects of energy storage and product development.
- Carry out testing, troubleshooting, and preparing technical reports.
- Provide support for pilots and production.
- Work closely with hardware and software engineers in research and product development
Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering specializing in Battery/BMS technology.
Proven experience in embedded systems design and development using C/C++.
Hands-on experience with at least four embedded projects on platforms like Arduino, STM, Raspberry Pi, or ESP.
Proficiency in using Multisim, Proteus, or similar simulation tools.
Skilled in PCB soldering, basic electronics assembly, and circuit troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience in Infineon / STM32 / TI / NXP embedded programming is an added advantage
Knowledge of automotive/electrical / battery systems/ embedded systems is preferable.
Understanding of battery management systems, electric vehicles, and energy storage solutions is a plus.
Strong knowledge of communication protocols such as CAN, UART, and SPI.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with customers.
Problem-solving mindset with a focus on delivering practical and reliable solutions.
Willingness to travel and work in challenging field conditions.
Self-motivated with ability to multi-task and work independently
