As a Product Designer, you would join our fast-growing product team, reporting to an experienced product leader with over 25 years in the industry. Hiive has a modern tech stack and quality product design and engineering that ships high-quality updates quickly. You will be expected to ramp up quickly and work with product managers, engineers and a product design team to deliver meaningful change in the business.
In the role, your responsibilities will include:
Consider themselves versed in both UX and UI and be able to take a design all the way through low fidelity and high fidelity iterations.
Be a system thinker who can work through and visualize interconnecting concepts and design for the present and future needs of the product.
Adapt well to a quickly moving environment.
Ability to solve complex design problems.
Collaborate well with team members and be receptive to feedback.
Be ambitious and self-motivated, and excited about working in an entrepreneurial environment.
Have an up-to-date understanding of design best practices, standards and trends.
Have excellent aesthetic sense.
Required Experience:
3+ years of product design experience.
Experience working across all stages of user journey, marketing, onboarding and transacting.
Experience working on mobile responsive UI design.
Hands-on design skills preferably using Figma, or similar tools, for remote collaboration.
Experience working closely with product managers and engineers on implementing and iterating on designs while they are being developed.
Preferred Experience:
Experience working in a fintech startup or designing for marketplaces.
Experience designing marketing collateral design.
Experience in design research facilitation and user testing.
