Job Description

As our Senior DevOps Engineer you will be given a unique opportunity to support Cloud-based environments and work on high impact projects across different teams. Your mission is to provide support for Information Technology (IT) assets and take ownership of related Key Performance Indicators (KPI), and your responsibilities include:-

• As a Senior DevOps Engineer, your key objectives will be to…
• Deploying, automating, maintaining and managing cloud-based production system
• Ensuring the availability, performance, scalability and security of productions systems
• Building, releasing and configuration management of production systems
• Pre-production Acceptance Testing to help assure the quality of our products/services
• System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains
• Suggesting architecture improvements, recommending process improvements
• Build CICD pipeline for various services and applications
• Automate the deployment of services and applications to various environments and platforms
• Evaluate new technology options and vendor products
• Ensuring critical system security through the use of best-in-class cloud security solutions

Must-Haves

• Passionate about Technology, Telecommunications and Disruptive models
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or relevant
• Minimally 5 Years’ of Working Experience in a DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Automation Role in a Product-based Company
• Strong coding skills in IaC preferably Groovy (Jenkins), Python etc. (Required)
• Strong scripting capabilities: Bash (Required)
• Strong hands on experience with CICD tools such as jenkins, bitbucket, gitlab
• Experience in management & integration of public cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
• Good experience into AWS/GCP Architecture and Services
• Ability to design applications on AWS taking advantage of disaster recovery design guideline
• Good experience in containerised architecture like K8S, GKE, EKS, Anthos, OpenShift
• Experience with distributed Source Code Management (SCM) tools, e.g. Gitlab/Bitbucket
• Experience with automation / operational provisioning tools, e.g. Ansible, Puppet or Chef
• Understanding of various IT process framework: Agile, ITIL
• Able to support 24x7 on call on rotating basis
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work across multiple stakeholders
• Ability to take up ownership of various projects and work
• Experience in managing multiple external vendors

Nice-To-Have

• Linux certification (RHEL or Ubuntu-based certification)
• Cloud platform certifications (AWS, GCP)
• Experience in Atlassian stack (JIRA, Confluence, OpsGenie etc.)
• Knowledge or experience in DevOps, Automation or Hybrid Environment
