OneGuide is a portfolio operations platform that helps PE and VC firms provide resources that support growth at their portfolio companies (from financial templates to SEO consultants to recruiting advice). We serve firms with hundreds of collective portfolio companies through:
- Centralized portfolio hub software
- A network of 150+ tactical experts and 1,000+ pages of expert-authored content
- Services to augment PE/VC portfolio ops team capacity (writing services, event coordination services)
- We’re a small (6 person team) but established (3 years old, profitable) bootstrapped startup looking for someone who’s interested in being a part of a fast-paced environment, with the opportunity to grow in multiple functional areas.
Goals of this Role
- Build strong relationships with clients
- Coordinate smooth delivery of OneGuide services (software customization, event coordination, custom content writing)
- Ensure we’re tracking against joint success goals
- Identify additional areas to create and capture value with our clients
Responsibilities
Manage Client Meetings
- Run client meetings, including QBRs, monthly check-ins, and onboarding meetings
- Prepare materials for those meetings
- Handle follow-ups, including recap emails and tracking follow-up items internally and with the client
Manage the Delivery of OneGuide Services
- Act as the primary point of contact for coordinating OneGuide resources between clients and our experts
- Coordinate across client stakeholders, often engaging with 2-6 people on the client’s team
Run Client Portfolio Events
- Schedule and set up events, coordinating between firms and experts
- Assist clients with registration, identify the right invite list, and ensure good RSVP yield
- Facilitate events and upload recap materials
Manage New Client Onboardings
- Run onboardings involving multiple tasks and meetings across 3-6 months, tracked within our Airtable
Own Regular Client Tracking
- Weekly: Stay on top of client events, guide writing, and tasks
- Monthly: Work and report on progress against higher-level usage and goals
Create Meeting and Event Materials
- Create slide decks for client events and QBRs using templates
- Draft agendas and recap emails for check-ins
Requirements
Strong Interpersonal and Business Communication Skills
- 3+ years in a customer-facing role serving business customers (customer success, account management, sales, consulting, project management)
- Strong presence on Zoom, able to lead conversations and events fluidly
- Excellent written communication skills
- Highly responsive to clients, even outside regular business hours
Organized and Reliable
- Strong organizational skills and follow-through on tasks and deadlines
- Proactive in preparing for meetings and check-ins
- Effective communication of updates and potential issues
Able to Create Accurate, Professional Materials
- Tight attention to detail (careful with dates, client details, etc.)
- Eye for professional design - working within templates, but able to make sure client materials look polished
Tech Fluency
- Experience with or ability to quickly pick up tech tools, including:
- Google Slides
- Airtable
- Canva
- WordPress
- Email marketing automation software
Growth Mindset
- Receptive to feedback and able to implement changes quickly
- Eager to learn new tools and topic areas
- Adaptable and able to “wear multiple hats” on a small team
Salary
This is a full-time role based in Denver, Colorado with a hybrid setup. You’ll work 3 days per week in our office in the North Capitol Hill neighborhood of Denver and 2 days per week at home. On-target compensation for this role is $93,000-$103,000 annually, made up of a base salary of $80,000, an on-target performance bonus of $8,000, and $5,000-$15,000 in commission potential.
