About the Role:
As the Director of Finance, you will oversee all financial operations, planning, and strategy to support our ambitious goals. You will work closely with our CEO, Chief of Staff, and broader executive team to facilitate financial strategy, optimize financial performance, and ensure the company's ongoing financial health and scalability. You will play a key role in shaping the company's financial future, helping guide investment decisions, and supporting our long-term strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Drive the execution of monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes with precision and timeliness.
- Partner with key stakeholders to enhance predictability across financial and operational metrics.
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve financial policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard assets and ensure operational efficiency.
- Oversee corporate financial reporting, including the preparation and distribution of weekly dashboards, monthly and quarterly reports, and Board presentations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and global regulatory requirements in financial reporting and operations.
- Continuously refine and update the long-term financial model and rolling forecast to align with business and financial goals.
- Provide decision support through financial planning for both the overall organization and individual business functions.
- Collaborate closely with leadership to drive business performance and operational execution, contributing to strategic initiatives.
About You:
You are an execution-oriented finance professional with deep experience in B2B SaaS, particularly in product-led growth (PLG) models. You excel at translating complex financial data into operational insights that drive business performance. With a proven track record in managing financial operations in high-growth environments, you bring a balance of operational expertise and strategic thinking. You are a natural leader, capable of building and guiding high-performing finance teams, and are motivated by the opportunity to contribute to a dynamic and scaling organization.
Requirements
- 6+ years of finance experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role within an early-stage B2B SaaS PLG environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
- Experience working within a PE environment
- Has worked in a profitable company or within a path to profitability
- Expertise in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, compliance, and forecasting.
- Proven experience in financial reporting, global compliance, and managing cash flow in a profitable business.
- Strong analytical skills with a track record of driving financial performance and delivering actionable strategic insights.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with a history of mentoring and developing high-performing finance teams from the ground up.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to work effectively with executive leadership and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of critical standards (eg., ASC 606, ASC 718)
