What You’ll Do:

• Drive end-to-end development: Lead the design and implementation of both the front end (using React) and the back end (using Node.js) to build scalable, high-performance applications. You’ll architect robust APIs, manage data flow across platforms, and ensure both ends of the stack are built for reliability, maintainability, and growth.

• Engineer for efficiency and scale: Develop an application that seamlessly connects the web and mobile platforms, tackling complex logic, conditional flows, and dynamic data handling to ensure a synchronized user experience. Your work will support critical front-end features while managing intricate dependencies on the back end.

• Own code quality and speed: We’re looking for a developer who consistently delivers high-quality code, executing at speed without sacrificing attention to detail. You’ll estimate efforts, prioritize tasks, plan implementations, and triage production issues as they arise, keeping the team on track and minimizing rework.

• Shape foundational technology for launch: Join us just months from product launch and help set a high-performance foundation that will guide technology’s evolution. Instead of managing tech debt, you’ll be instrumental in defining the best practices and standards that will shape how our software is built and scaled.

Skills and Experience:

• Full stack expertise: 8+ years of experience in full stack development, with strong knowledge of both front-end (React) and back-end (Node.js) technologies for building large-scale applications.

• Front-end proficiency: 5+ years of experience with React, building modular, reusable components, managing complex state logic (e.g., Redux), and creating polished, responsive UIs. Experience with build tools (e.g., Vite) for optimized development workflows, and familiarity with CSS-in-JS, accessibility standards, and responsive design principles is essential.

• Back-end mastery: 5+ years of experience in building and optimizing RESTful and GraphQL APIs, with proficiency in Node.js. Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and familiarity with cloud services like AWS is required for efficient data handling and scalability.

• JavaScript and TypeScript mastery: 7+ years of JavaScript experience, with 2+ years using TypeScript to ensure type-safe, maintainable code across the stack.

• Testing and CI/CD: 3+ years with unit and integration testing (e.g., Jest, Mocha), CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices for deploying and managing full stack applications.

• Solid knowledge of algorithms and design patterns: 5+ years of experience applying algorithms and relevant design patterns (e.g., Higher-Order Components, hooks, Flux, Singleton) to build efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.

• Education: BS or equivalent degree in Computer Science
