Full Stack Engineer

As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll play a critical role in building out our product and bringing important features to life. Your mission is to accelerate the development of new features and improvements to our site, delighting users and keeping them engaged. Your work will directly impact customer satisfaction and retention, ensuring that users find our platform delightful and engaging.

Technical Challenges
We have been extensively leveraging AI internally to improve processes and automation. As a greeting card focused company, design is very important, so we have also had to get very familiar with image generation models to improve our design process and bring down costs. We plan to add more AI based internal tooling along with more cusotmer facing features.

Responsibilities
Feature Development: Quickly turn around complex new features from minimal specs or Figma designs.
Design Collaboration: Work with our UI/UX designer, bridging gaps when necessary, and make intuitive decisions without always relying on detailed tickets or perfect designs.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify and fix bugs, optimizing existing features for better performance.
Technical Management: Handle all aspects of DevOps, including builds, deployments, and environment adjustments.
Technical Strategy: Make informed decisions on the tech stack to avoid future technical debt and enhance maintainability.
Communication: Participate in daily stand-ups and effectively communicate your workstreams to the team.
Learning and Adaptation: Quickly familiarize yourself with our existing codebase and adopt new technologies and tools as needed.
User Experience Focus: Collaborate with UI/UX to ensure technical implementations enhance user experience with clean solutions.

Requirements
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in React, Node.js, and MongoDB.
Preferred Experience: Familiarity with Next.js and TypeScript is strongly preferred.
DevOps Skills: Solid understanding of DevOps with the ability to manage deployments independently.
Agile Teamwork: Comfortable taking on significant responsibility and working within a small, agile team.
