About us:

Beesi is an app where a group of friends contributes a fixed amount individually each month. Each month, one friend from the group can collect the pool amount, which is then transferred to a bank account without any interest or charges. This cycle continues based on the number of friends in the group.

Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Intern to join our team. The QA Intern will work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. This role offers hands-on experience with testing processes, tools, and methodologies, providing an excellent opportunity to build a foundation in software quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist in developing, documenting, and executing test cases for new and existing features
2. Perform manual testing to identify software issues and verify bug fixes
3. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand requirements and clarify expectations
4. Execute test plans and report on testing outcomes and quality metrics
5. Document and track defects in the bug tracking system, following up on resolutions as needed
6. Participate in testing cycles, including regression, smoke, and functional testing
7. Help ensure that the application meets quality standards before releases
8. Learn and adhere to QA best practices and company testing standards

Requirements:

1. Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
3. Basic knowledge of software development and testing concepts
4. Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools is a plus (e.g., JIRA, TestRail)
5. Ability to work well within a team environment and communicate effectively
6. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and testing processes

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with any programming language or scripting language (e.g., Python, Java) is an advantage
2. Familiarity with automation testing tools is a plus
3. Basic understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
