Key Responsibilities
Algorithm Development Design, develop, and implement digital signal processing algorithms for noise and vibration analysis.
Data Analysis Analyse and interpret data from vibration measurement systems to detect patterns and identify anomalies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with cross-functional teams to integrate DSP solutions into broader systems and applications.
Documentation Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for DSP algorithms and processes.
Testing & Validation Conduct testing and validation of DSP solutions to ensure their accuracy and reliability in real-world maritime environments.
Technical Support Provide technical support and troubleshooting for DSP-related issues across different projects.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
- Proven hands-on experience in digital signal processing of noise and vibrations.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end vibration measurement systems.
- Proficiency in Python programming at an intermediate level.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in a related field.
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques applied to signal processing.
- Experience in a similar industry or on similar projects.
