We are seeking a motivated HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. As an HR Generalist at Auterion, you will play a crucial role in supporting the people team and contributing to the overall success of the organization. This position requires a well-rounded professional with a strong understanding of HR best practices, compliance knowledge, and a passion for fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
The ideal candidate will be adept at managing day-to-day HR functions, collaborating with departments, and contributing to strategic HR initiatives that drive employee engagement and development
Responsibilities and Duties
- Employee Relations: Assist in managing employee relations issues, including investigating and resolving workplace complaints or conflicts in line with company policies
- Onboarding and Offboarding: Facilitate onboarding processes for new hires, including orientation, paperwork, and training coordination; manage exit processes for departing employees
- Benefits Administration: Support benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, and responding to employee inquiries
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including assisting with audits and reporting requirements
- Performance Management: Assist in administering performance appraisal processes and supporting managers with performance-related documentation
- Training and Development: Coordinate or assist with employee training and development programs
- Supporting Diverse HR Projects: Actively participating in various HR initiatives and contributing to team goals
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous experience in people operations or related human resources roles, ideally within a scale-up or fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with US Labor Law in multiple states
- Experience with both payroll & benefits administration
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Proactive and able to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- US Citizenship is a must have
- Rigorous, self-organized, and autonomous in managing priorities
- Understanding of payroll preparation and collaboration with external partners for execution
- A passion for structure, processes, and a sense of urgency
- Ability to organize, automate, and continuously improve employee data management
