About the job

For the past 40 years, Pioneers has partnered with churches around the world to initiate church planting movements among unreached people groups. With Innovation and Flexibility as some of our core values, we are one of the fastest-growing missions organizations in the US, sending missionaries from 16 bases located across the globe. (Go to Pioneers.org/About to learn more about us!)

Hospitality Intern

Our Hospitality Intern works directly with the Hospitality Services Director on the Hospitality Team. This is a fast-paced and versatile position where our intern will assist and execute event logistics that serve Pioneers missionaries who are visiting the Orlando base, along with understanding the sale, communication and execution of hosting external events at Pioneers. Whether you are setting up for the day of an event or creating feedback assessments so our team can make future improvements, this position dives into all the nitty gritty details of how to serve others through the best practices of hospitality.

If you have a passion for event planning, an intrapreneurial spirit and strive to go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations, then this is the role for you!

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with multiple Pioneers teams to plan detailed logistics, track projects in our event management software system and execute events for Pioneers teams, missionaries on home assignment and outside third parties who utilize our space.

  • Develop feedback assessments to measure event success and customer satisfaction

  • Create analytics on space utilization and evaluate our social media outlets & marketing efforts to increase the exposure of renting our conference center spaces

  • Participate in bi-weekly Hospitality Team and 1:1 meetings
