About the job
The Product Team @ Pave
This role will help us grow Pave’s Workflows (SaaS) products. Today, 50% of the world’s GDP is spent on employee compensation. But the processes to manage that budget are shockingly archaic. Companies string together a series of spreadsheets and manual processes to run their compensation cycles, get buy-in from stakeholders to execute the compensation changes and then notify employees of the merit increases, all with little to no technology. Pave is transforming that terrible process into a delightful experience that empowers Total Rewards leaders to strategically and efficiently allocate their budgets to drive meaningful impact on their employees.
As the Platform PM for this area, you will work with our growing list of top tier customers to ensure our overall Workflows platform meets the needs of our Enterprise buyers, fitting their bespoke & complex expectations in relation to identity, permissions, security, data governance and APIs to make their data portable in Pave.
What You'll Bring:
- You have 3-5 years of experience as a product manager at a B2B SaaS company, preferably serving large enterprises. Experience working on HR tech, collaboration tools is a plus
- You have a strong technical background and excel at analytical thinking.
- You are an excellent written and verbal communicator.
- You have a proven track record of taking ownership, taking initiative, and delivering results.
- You collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners.
- You have a learning and growth mindset.
- You are mission-first and understand that your success is measured by your product and team’s success.
- You preferably have expertise in compensation management & HR tech industry
- You preferably have expertise managing technical APIs
- You preferably have expertise with building & maintaining Role Based Access Control (RBAC) systems
What You'll Be Doing:
- Spending time with our product teams & customers to deeply understand how our overall platform needs to improve to suit the disparate needs of our customers
- Work with our core platform tech team to build out solutions that help with identity, permissions, API and other critical enterprise needs.
- Defining key platform roadmap vision to sell into our customer base on extensibility, privacy and ease of use across the board.
- Empowering your team by giving context, setting direction, and building alignment
- Driving customer-focused decisions, clear prioritization, and efficient execution
- Coordinating cross-functionally with leadership, go-to-market teams, and other key stakeholders across the company
- Opportunity to build truly innovative products in a space that’s massively impactful (50% of GDP on the planet is impacted by compensation).
- Work with some of the most influential tech companies in the world who are beating down our door to solve their problems around compensation
- Ability to impact the entire product suite by influencing many areas of the product roadmap.
A final note — we highly encourage you to apply for this role, even if you don’t feel entirely qualified, or entirely sure. You never know!
