Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented Software Engineer to join our growing software team. This role is critical for developing the functionality, robustness, and usability of our medical software applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain software applications for medical imaging devices.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including clinical staff, quality assurance, and engineers.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code adhering to good coding standards, and employ effective bug-tracking and troubleshooting practices.
- Contribute to the improvement of software development processes and practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years’ experience in C++ desktop software development.
- Good communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Experience with version control systems and software development lifecycles.
- Preferred: Located near the Upper Valley area, or willing to relocate nearby.
- Preferred: Experience with some of the following libraries – Qt, VTK, DCMTK, OpenCV
- Preferred: Experience with machine learning, computer vision, image processing
- Preferred: Experience interfacing with hospital/medical record systems, such as radiation oncology information systems, EHR, HL7, DICOM services, FHR.
