In this role, you will work on the latest test automation tools to enable testing across desktop and mobile devices. You will test production code both at the user level and platform level, both manually and with automated tools. You will not perform the tests as pure black box testers. Instead, you understand software internals, drive test strategy based on product architectures, debug problems, and write automated tests. You will work with software development engineers and business owners to understand technical implementation of features. Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer with 3+ years of experience in manual and automated testing for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing and executing test plans, analyzing product requirements, and enhancing testing procedures. You will collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality applications, utilizing both manual and automated testing methodologies

What You Will Do

• Write and execute comprehensive test plans for web and mobile applications, ensuring thorough coverage of all functional areas.
• Analyze Product Requirement Documents (PRD) to identify and address any gaps.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team to achieve project goals.
• Lead the development and enhancement of testing procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Analyze existing testing frameworks and tools to expand both manual and automation testing scope.
• Ability to author complex test scripts.
• Manage the end-to-end QA cycle, including test case creation, execution, and management.
• Raise outstanding issues through established project management channels according to the project plan.
• Conduct UI/UX testing to ensure an optimal user experience across applications.
• Engage in web services (API) testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Ability to understand technical specifications and analyse log files.
• Work with related teams and influence test architecture and engineering best practice.
• Define quality and operational metrics within a project.

• Working with cloud architecture, web services, and web sites
• Testing mobile and web applications with Java and JavaScript

Role Details

• Selection process: Assignment and Interview rounds (2-4 rounds)
• Designation: QA Engineer
• Location: Remote (work from home) or Bangalore (work from office)
• Remuneration: Rs 6-8L per annum (negotiable)
• Expected Notice Period: 1 month or less
