SDE 2 (Backend)

We are looking for our next Backend engineer with 3+ years of experience in building performant, scalable and reliable systems for product companies and startups. The candidate is expected to have strong problem-solving skills with a proven experience of leveraging distributed systems to build elegant solutions to complex real world problems. If you are someone who has worked in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities - this might be the next right role for you!

*Primary Requirements: *

1. 3+ years of experience building microservices with Node.js (Typescript preferred)
2. Proven experience with NoSQL and SQL databases such as Mongo, MySQL etc. Adept in database design
3. Proficient in building REST APIs using web frameworks (Express.js/Nest.js)
4. Should have a solid grasp of HTTP fundamentals
5. Knowledge of event-driven architectures and message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka etc.
6. Strong troubleshooting skills
7. Good understanding of data structures and algorithms

Good to have:

1. Worked with MERN stack
2. Awareness of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes
3. Open-source contributions
