Job Overview:
Biocube is looking for a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in India. In this role,
you will oversee financial processes, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide strategic
financial insights that will drive the company's continued growth. The Senior Accountant will
manage day-to-day accounting tasks while ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with Indian Accounting Standards.
2. General Ledger: Maintain the integrity of the general ledger by ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded and reconciled accurately.
3. Provide insights through financial analysis and strategic recommendations.
4. Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
5. Develop financial models to guide business decisions.
6. Coordinate with auditors for annual audits.
7. Support decision-making with timely financial insights.
8. Revenue Recognition: Ensure accurate and timely recognition of revenue, maintain documentation and controls around revenue streams, ensuring alignment with company growth strategies and scalability.
9. Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with Indian Tax laws, including GST, Income tax, TDS and other statutory requirements.
10. Cost Control: Analyze financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve operational efficiency.
11. Accounts Payable/Receivable: Oversee timely payment of vendors and collections from customers while maintaining accurate records of transactions. Qualifications:
12. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
13. Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CMA).
14. Experience: At least 5-7 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a technology or SaaS-based company.
15. Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and reporting.
16. Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and local tax regulations.
17. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse financial data and provide strategic insights to management.
18. Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working cross-functionally. Preferred Skills:
19. Experience with financial planning and budgeting.
20. Knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
21. Experience working in a fast-growing technology company or start-up environment.
