Job Overview:
Bioqube is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager (AGM) - Accounts &
Taxation to manage all financial, tax, and compliance-related activities. In this role, you will
oversee financial management, ensure tax compliance, manage audits, and provide strategic
financial insights. You will also mentor and lead a team of finance professionals to support
the company’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Management: ● Oversee all financial management functions, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting to ensure strong financial health. ● Manage the month-end closing of financial books, ensuring accurate financial statements and adherence to local and international accounting regulations. ● Provide strategic financial analysis and recommendations to enhance profitability and business growth.
2. Taxation and Compliance: ● Ensure compliance with all tax laws and regulations, including the timely and accurate filing of tax returns. ● Coordinate with tax authorities and external consultants to address tax-related issues and inquiries. ● Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency and minimize liabilities.
3. Audit Coordination: ● Lead and coordinate internal and external audits, including statutory, tax, and compliance audits. ● Ensure audits are completed on time and address audit findings to mitigate financial and compliance risks.
4. Treasury Management: ● Oversee cash flow management and liquidity, ensuring optimal working capital and risk management. ● Establish and maintain treasury policies to support efficient financial operations.
5. Team Leadership: ● Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. ● Set clear departmental goals and ensure alignment with the company’s overall objectives. Qualifications:
6. Education: ● Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
7. Experience: ● 5-7 years of experience in finance, accounting, and taxation, preferably within the tech or SaaS sector. ● Experience managing taxation in multi-vertical or multinational organizations is an advantage.
8. Skills: ● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. ● Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capability to work across departments. ● Proficiency in financial management software and the MS Office suite. Key Competencies:
