About the Company
Pascal is building an AI investor - enabling the world's largest asset management firms to generate insight and take better investment decisions. The team has solid experience in finance and AI. Co-founders are both IIT-Kharagpur graduates with MBA degrees from Chicago Booth and IIM-Bangalore, have worked in finance (Kalaari, Barclays Capital, Capital Group) and led product teams (Amazon AWS AI, MPL, ShareChat) and our founding engineering team are computer science graduates from IIT Bombay. We have just closed a seed round from Tier 1 Indian and Global VCs, and are looking for a founding Full Stack Engineer.

About the Role
Our first set of clients manage billions of dollars in assets, and they expect a polished product. We are very early in our product building journey, so this is the right time to join for someone who wants to go knee deep in LLMs, build and deploy, enterprise scale applications. There is potential for this role to grow into a team lead role in the next 6 months as we scale clients and revenue.
You will be responsible for delivering medium-sized projects end-to-end, including system architecture, front-end, and back-end development, including deploying LLM applications in production.
The ideal candidate wants to get in on the front row in a fast growing startup which is going to redefine the investment management industry, and work with a high quality team.

Responsibilities
• Lead and Own Projects: Architect, build, and deliver medium-sized AI tooling projects end-to-end, covering front-end, back-end, and system design.

• Full-Stack Development: Build features from scratch using front-end and back-end technologies, including React, Node.js, and PostgreSQL, to improve platform usability.

• Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with product, design, and research teams to iterate on new features and enhance the user experience for our AI tooling platforms.

• Drive Quality and Scalability: Ensure our data collection and AI systems are robust, scalable, secure, and optimized for performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Experience: 3-5 years of full-stack software development experience, with a focus on building end-to-end solutions.

Tech Stack:
• Languages: Proficiency in Typescript and Python.
• Frameworks: Strong experience with React and Node.js frameworks such as Nest.js, etc. .
• Database: Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• System Design: Proven ability to design scalable and secure systems, ensuring quality and performance at scale.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent debugging and testing skills with a strong ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
• Collaboration: Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work across teams and departments.
