We seek a Director of Product, Growth to bring Product-Led Growth (PLG) expertise, a curiosity to uncover insights and a strong drive to generate business impact. You will lead across multiple geographies with a bold experimentation roadmap and ensure the execution of SafetyCulture’s growth strategy across user onboarding, ongoing engagement and retention, and monetisation.
What you’ll be doing:
- You're the driver in developing and owning the PLG strategy for SafetyCulture in collaboration with GTM, Product and Engineering Leadership.
- Be a leading voice for PLG and the SafetyCulture broader product leadership and cross-functional Product Growth teams, including Design, Marketing, Engineering, and Data Science.
- Growth Leadership – Lead and mentor a team of Growth Product Managers to drive excellence in embracing PLG methodologies and execution, and partner with your fellow core/platform product leaders.
- Defining and owning Growth Metrics across acquisition, engagement, and monetisation that ultimately drive the continued momentum of SafetyCulture’s net significant business opportunity.
- A Product Growth Mindset – Continue efforts to perfect our Product Growth muscle, instilling a sense of curiosity, the strength to challenge internally held mental models and frameworks, and an experimentation mindset that celebrates test failures and test wins in the spirit of learning.
You will have experience in:
- Confidence working deeply with data, analyzing & understanding the SC funnel, identifying and developing opportunities.
- Comfortable running & analyzing A/B tests, diving into Amplitude/Tableau charts and interpreting results, diagnosing problems and proactively seeking solutions & improvements with the broader Marketing/Product teams.
- Experience leading at least 3 teams and/or experience leading people (GPM level).
- Act as a coach and mentor for your team. Teaching best practices around Growth/Experimentation.
- Assess and develop processes that continuously raise the quality of the outcomes we deliver
- Be the voice and advocate of the customer, always
- Develop & lead product strategy for new initiatives and opportunities
- Lead & manage the breakdown of projects into milestones, epics and user stories
- Build technical knowledge of the product
- Manage priorities between customer needs, team velocity, user experience and internal stakeholder requirements
- Ensure the backlog is ordered by priority and developers do not have any blockers
- Maintain strong communications between stakeholders and the development team
- Manage team ceremonies like stand ups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, etc.
The successful applicant will bring to the role:
- 12+ years leading large teams in B2C a/or B2B product management and product growth & marketing on web and mobile apps.
- PLG expertise to deliver strong product and business outcomes, with dynamically larger scope in scale and team development.
- A deep understanding of sophisticated growth strategies and implementation with product adoption.
- Navigate within a highly matrixed organization, working through and across multiple teams, functions, and structures.
- Exceptional executive presence to influence others, from senior executives/C-staff to individual Growth practitioners.
- Communication and collaboration: Present with excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences across many departments (Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, Data Engineering).
- Problem Solver with a can-do attitude: Approach problems and build solutions from various angles to achieve an outcome.
- Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities as well as commit to high ethical standards and quality in their work.
