About the Role:
Forter is seeking a Senior Financial Systems Administrator to join our growing Enterprise Systems team and to be responsible for maintaining and developing customizations within our current ERP (NetSuite) as well as contributing to our large-scale Global transformation projects. This role will report up to Director, Enterprise Systems and will work closely with our key stakeholders to ensure that our systems are stable, automated, and meet our global standards and requirements.
As a Sr. Financial Systems Administrator, you will not only have a chance to work in a broad environment of enterprise level financial applications but also help develop change management procedures and documentation that will put us on a path to meeting future compliance goals. We are building a diverse and highly skilled Financial Systems team, and we believe this role will play a big part in its continued success and future development. This role will be the key technical resource for the Financial Systems team and be a contributing factor to the success of our current and future initiatives.
What you'll be doing:
- Partner with other members of the Financial Systems team to develop solutions that meet our global Accounting & Finance requirements.
- Lead the technical aspects of our Financial System projects.
- Manage the ongoing maintenance of our current 3rd party customizations.
- Maintain technical documentation to ensure that changes to our Finance Systems are being made in an auditable, visible manner that maintains system integrity.
- Collaborate with other Financial System team members to determine solution architecture and design that may best fit stakeholder requirements.
- Keep up to date on upcoming changes in Netsuite and other Enterprise Systems, how they affect our implementation, and how they can be leveraged going forward.
- Identify legacy scripts and workflows that can be adapted or deprecated as we move forward with system transformation initiatives.
- Be a driving force in standardizing Forter’s Financial Systems development processes.
- Work within the collaborative global Financial Systems department framework assisting in our team meeting our long-term goals.
What you'll need:
- An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field or an equivalent combination of education and training.
- 3-5 years of experience working with NetSuite specifically SuiteScript, SuiteTalk, and Workflows.
- A deep understanding of how Suitelets, RESTLets and Map/Reduce scripts are utilized within NetSuite.
- Ability to communicate effectively with finance teams, technical teams, and system users at all levels in the organization.
- A detailed understanding of various integration platforms for moving data between enterprise systems, such as ETL tools (Dell Boomi) or fully custom integrations.
- Exceptional attention to detail, an analytical mind and strong interpersonal communication skills including the ability to relay technical information to a non-technical audience.
- Experience working within industry standard development processes to deploy changes in a structured, auditable method that allows for rollbacks and precise tracking of exactly what is changing.
- Experience creating enterprise level technical documentation.
