Engineering Manager – Software Development & Operations Lead

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Engineering Manager to lead our software development team while managing the overall operations of our office in Delhi, NCR. This role combines strong technical leadership with operational oversight, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and that the office functions effectively. The ideal candidate will have experience in a software house or agency, with a strong background in engineering management, and a proven ability to lead teams and manage projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, mentor, and manage the software engineering team to deliver high-quality projects on time.
• Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and delivery.
• Manage the day-to-day operations of the office, ensuring smooth coordination across departments.
• Ensure effective communication between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Align engineering and project management practices with business goals.
• Manage resource allocation and timelines to ensure optimal productivity.
• Coordinate with the leadership team to stay on top of project status and company objectives.
• Conduct market research and maintain awareness of industry trends and best practices.
• Ensure that projects meet quality, performance, and security standards.
• Travel to Europe and the Middle East for business purposes, as required.

Key Requirements:

• Prior Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within a software house or agency, with a focus on engineering management and project delivery.
• Technical Expertise: Strong technical background with knowledge of software development processes, tools, and technologies.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage engineering teams, along with a track record of successful project delivery.
• Operational Experience: Experience managing office operations, including resource planning, HR, and budgeting.
• Fluency in English: Must be proficient in both written and spoken English.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address and solve complex challenges in both technical and operational environments.
• Business Travel: Willingness and availability to travel to Europe and the Middle East as needed.
