Thryl by Glazer Labs is at the cutting edge of technology and esports, dedicated to redefining engagement in the gaming community through our platform, Thryl. Our focus is on creating an immersive, dynamic experience for gamers around the world using the latest AI and blockchain technologies.

We are looking for a curious and driven Market Research Intern to perform specialized content research within the gaming industry. This role will focus on analyzing content trends, user engagement, and the effectiveness of content forms across various gaming platforms. The ideal candidate will have a knack for storytelling and a deep understanding of what captivates the gaming audience.

Content Trends Analysis:
Conduct comprehensive research to identify and analyze current and emerging content trends across major gaming platforms and social media.
Evaluate the popularity and impact of various content forms such as gameplay videos, tutorials, e-sports broadcasts, vlogs, and podcasts.

Audience Engagement Analysis:
Track and analyze user engagement metrics for different types of content to understand what resonates with various gamer demographics.
Study audience reactions and feedback through comments, likes, shares, and other interactive elements to gauge content effectiveness.

Content Performance Monitoring:
Regularly monitor and report on the performance of Thryl’s content as well as that of key competitors.
Use analytics tools to measure content success through engagement rates, view counts, follower growth, and other relevant metrics.

Survey and Interview Execution:
Design and help conduct surveys and structured interviews with users to collect qualitative and quantitative data on content preferences and consumption habits.
Analyze survey results and compile insights to support content strategy decisions.

Reporting and Insights Generation:
Develop detailed reports and presentations that clearly articulate content research findings, insights, and actionable recommendations.
Present findings to content teams and management to help shape content creation and marketing strategies.

Collaboration with Content Teams:
Work closely with the content development team to share insights and trends that can inform the creation of engaging and effective content.
Suggest improvements and innovations in content based on research findings and industry best practices.

Innovation and Strategic Input:
Stay abreast of innovations in content creation and distribution within the gaming industry.
Recommend new tools, platforms, and content formats that Thryl could adopt to enhance its content strategy.

Industry Monitoring:
Keep updated with the latest developments, technologies, and best practices in gaming and content creation.
Participate in webinars, online forums, and industry conferences to network with other professionals and bring back insights to the team.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field with a strong academic record.
  • Demonstrated interest in and knowledge of the gaming industry and content creation.
  • Experience with data analysis and ability to present research findings effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with content management systems and analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, combined with a creative mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
