We’re seeking a dynamic Vice President of Sales to lead our sales efforts and drive our revenue growth.
Position Overview:
The Vice President of Sales will be responsible for developing and executing our sales strategy, building a high-performing sales team, and establishing a robust lead generation function. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record in sales leadership, particularly in the SaaS and tech sectors. You will report directly to the CEO and play a critical role in shaping the future of our company. You will also be responsible for adding new revenue streams for the business with a target of an additional 1-2 verticals with an established pipeline by the end of 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy Development: Design and implement a comprehensive sales strategy that aligns with our business goals and drives revenue growth.
Lead Generation: Build and oversee an effective lead generation function, employing both inbound and outbound strategies to ensure a steady pipeline of qualified leads.
Team Leadership: Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Sales Operations: Optimize sales processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Implement metrics and KPIs to track performance and drive results.
Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. Use insights to refine sales strategies and product offerings.
Client Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Act as a trusted advisor to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure alignment on goals and messaging, and to enhance the overall customer experience.
Revenue Management: Own the revenue growth targets, developing actionable plans to meet or exceed quarterly and annual goals.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably as a Director or VP of Sales or similar position in the SaaS or tech industry.
- Strong understanding of the sales cycle and lead generation strategies, with a successful track record in building and managing sales teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to analyze data and market trends to drive decision-making.
- Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
