What we are working on

With a small team, we achieve big results. You’ll be working on both external web applications and our internal CMS, supporting both our users and our internal team.

Your Responsibilities

• Take ownership of our web platform built on React, Node.js, and MySQL
• Collaborate with the product manager to solve user problems by enhancing existing services and developing new ones.
• Ensure the security and scalability of the platform while improving user experience for both student and client portals, as well as internal tools.

Is this you?

• Have 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2+ years working with React, Node.js, and SQL.
• Want to contribute to a product that has a social impact.
• Enjoy working in a small, dynamic team where you can have a big influence.
• Are proactive, independent, and enjoy having the freedom to make decisions.
• Your strategic vision is sharp: You’re not just coding for the sake of it; you see the bigger picture. You love contributing to a product’s future, making decisions that ensure security and scalability.
• Live in the Netherlands and you are able to come into the office. Partial remote work is possible.
• You must be eligible to work in the Netherlands (no visa sponsorship or relocation support available).

What we offer

• A six-month contract for 0.8 FTE, with a salary between €3,500 and €4,700 (for 0.8 fte and based on experience), plus 8% holiday pay. The intention is to extend after the initial contract.
• Flexibility to manage your working hours and location: join us at our cozy green office in Amsterdam-Noord or work from home.
