Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Product Manager / Business Analyst with a finance
domain background to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of
experience in implementing software solutions, with a strong understanding of finance-
related calculations such as MIS, Balance Sheets, P&L, Accounts Receivable (AR),
Accounts Payable (AP), and Reconciliation processes. Prior experience in the Fintech or
Finance industry is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Implementation of Financial Systems: Lead the end-to-end implementation of financial software solutions, ensuring they align with client requirements.
2. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders, including finance and business teams, to understand detailed requirements for software deployments.
3. Solution Customization: Configure and customize the software to meet client-specific financial reporting and operational needs (e.g., MIS, P&L, Balance Sheets, AR/AP processing).
4. System Integration: Work closely with the technical team to integrate the software with existing financial systems, ensuring data consistency and accuracy.
5. Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop test plans, execute testing, and troubleshoot issues related to financial functionalities.
6. User Training: Provide training sessions and technical documentation for end-users to ensure smooth operation and understanding of the implemented systems.
7. Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work with finance teams, project managers, and technical departments to ensure project milestones are met.

Skills & Qualifications:

1. 3-5 years of experience in a financial systems implementation role or a Business Analyst role in a Finance domain related field.
2. Strong knowledge of finance principles and accounting standards.
3. Expertise in financial calculations, including but not limited to: o MIS (Management Information System) reporting o Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss (P&L) preparation o Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) o Reconciliation processes
4. Experience working on finance domain projects within Fintech or Finance industries is preferred.
5. Experience in one or more of the following: o Financial software like SAP, Oracle Financials, or equivalent. o Knowledge of SQL and other query languages for data extraction and financial reporting. o Experience in API integrations and handling complex financial data.
6. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.
8. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, or a related field.

Preferred Know-How:

1. Prior experience in a Fintech or Financial Software company.
2. Experience working with financial regulations and standards, such as GAAP,
3. IFRS, or local finance laws.
4. Familiarity with financial risk management and compliance.
