Backend Developer

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications, APIs, and databases.
• Collaborate with frontend developers and product managers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Optimize backend processes and queries for speed and scalability.
• Implement and maintain security and data protection measures.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply them to improve backend functionality.

Requirements:

• 2-4 years of experience as a Backend Developer.
• Proficiency in backend programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or PHP.
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Knowledge of version control systems, especially Git.
• Understanding of cloud services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well both independently and in a collaborative team environment.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Knowledge of GraphQL or gRPC.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with serverless architecture.
• Knowledge of caching mechanisms like Redis or Memcached.
