Content Operation Associate
Caring is seeking a Content Operations Associate to support our editorial and content marketing strategy. Reporting to the Director of Brand and Creative, the Content Operations Associate will be responsible for content operations and public relations support for our portfolio of sites, with a focus on Caring.com.
Responsibilities include managing freelancers and agencies who contribute to our content, owning content distribution to our syndication partners, and project management. This position is based in Charlotte, North Carolina.

As a Content Operations Associate, you will:
- Manage content distribution for Caring content and campaigns through vendor relationship management
- Coordinate media interview prep with internal and external spokespeople
- Triage inbound/reactive media opportunities
- Maintain the Caring Newsroom and “In the News” pages
- Own content quality assurance and uploading process across the portfolio
- Create and maintain content reporting
- Reconcile content budget monthly
- Manage freelancer onboarding and invoices
- Collaborate across the marketing team to share learnings and best practices
Our ideal Content Ops Associate will have:
- A relevant Bachelor's Degree and 3+ years of professional experience
- Relevant experience should include project management, digital journalism, and public relations
- Attention to detail and an analytical approach with data-driven content solutions in mind
- Strong prioritization skills, with the ability to identify and act on the most impactful opportunities
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
- Comfort with the entire Microsoft Office Suite and Google Docs Suite, particularly Google Sheets
- High level of autonomy and self-motivation, with the ability to take real ownership of day-to-day processes and potential efficiencies
