As the platform continues to grow, we are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology initiatives and drive innovation within our product suite.
Job Summary:
The CTO will play a key role in shaping the technology strategy of our platform, ensuring that our platform remains cutting-edge, scalable, and secure. As a member of the executive leadership team, you will oversee all aspects of technology, from software development to infrastructure, while aligning technological advancements with the overall business strategy.
You will be responsible for leading the development of our subscription management platform, overseeing teams, and ensuring that technology investments meet our growth and innovation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy & Vision:
Develop and execute the technical strategy in alignment with our vision to provide a first-rate platform within the creator economy.
Evaluate new technologies, ensuring our platform remains at the cutting edge of market trends.
Provide leadership in innovation, ensuring our platform stays competitive in its technology stack and feature set.
Product Development & Innovation:
Oversee the design, architecture, and scalability of our platform, with a focus on user experience, performance, and reliability.
Lead the development of new features and products, collaborating with product management to ensure customer-centric solutions.
Implement agile development practices and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Technology Operations:
Ensure the smooth and secure operation of our platform, optimising for uptime, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Implement best practices for cybersecurity, data privacy, and risk management, in compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Drive DevOps and automation to enhance operational efficiency and reduce time to market.
Team Leadership & Growth:
Lead and manage a diverse and talented team of developers, engineers, and IT professionals.
Foster a culture of collaboration, creativity, and accountability within the technology team.
Drive talent acquisition and skill development to ensure we maintain a high-performing, innovative workforce.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
Act as a key member of the executive team, providing insights on the technology landscape and how it affects our business.
Work closely with other departments (Product, Marketing, Finance, etc.) to ensure that technology solutions align with business objectives.
Build strong relationships with external partners, vendors, and industry experts to leverage technology trends and innovations.
Budget & Resource Management:
Manage technology budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while delivering on key projects.
Oversee vendor management and partnerships, ensuring that we leverage the right tools and technologies for the platform’s growth.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience (10+ years) in senior technology leadership roles, preferably as a CTO or Head of Department in SaaS, Fintech, or a related field.
Demonstrated experience leading the development of scalable, cloud-based platforms.
Expertise in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP), DevOps, and modern software architecture (microservices, serverless).
Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and experience managing secure platforms.
Experience with subscription-based business models and recurring revenue platforms is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing team.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
