Tech Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced team lead (or Ninja as we call it!).

You will have full stack knowledge i.e. Backend in Python is your sword, nextJS (front-end) is your shield and AWS devops your skating board. You will lead 1-2 modules and be both IC + mentor to young engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and deployment of backend services and systems using Python.
Architect and implement high-performance and scalable APIs and microservices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers, to define project requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Drive technical projects from conception through deployment while ensuring high code quality and adherence to best practices.
Mentor and support other developers in the team, providing technical guidance and code reviews.
Ensure system reliability and performance by implementing monitoring and logging solutions.
Stay informed of industry trends and emerging technologies, advocating for best practices within the team.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to the continuous improvement of team processes.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in backend development with Python (Django, Flask, FastAPI, etc.).
Strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
Proficient in version control systems (e.g., Git), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in leading and mentoring technical teams.
Knowledge of front-end technologies (JavaScript, React, Angular) is a plus.
Familiarity with machine learning or data processing frameworks is a bonus.
