We're building an AI-native platform using state-of-the-art technology to provide deep insights from video content. We are seeking a talented UX Engineer to join our small team. You will design and implement engaging and intuitive UIs for VeedoAI in this role. You will collaborate closely with product managers and backend engineers to create seamless user experiences that enhance usability.

What you'll be doing

• Collaborate to translate designs into high-quality front-end code.
• Use modern web technologies, specifically Sveltekit, for responsive and accessible interfaces.
• Optimize for speed and performance.
• Implement UI components, micro-interactions, and animations that improve engagement.
• Maintain consistency of the design system and UI patterns.
• Write clean and effective code, adhering to best practices.
• Integrate emerging trends into the UI.

What we expect from you

• 5+ years of professional experience in design and UX engineering.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing UIs for web apps.
• Knowledge of HTML, TailwindCSS, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React or Svelte).
• University degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience with responsive design and web standards.
• Familiarity with Git.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and integrating UI with backend services.

• Design Tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD for creating and prototyping UI/UX designs
• Collaboration Tools: Linear, Notion, and Slack.
• User Testing: UserTesting, Lookback for conducting and analyzing user research and testing

Nice to Haves

• Knowledge of front-end performance optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with UI testing frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Jest, and Playwright).
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
