Accounts Receivable and Credit Manager

Overview*
Small family owned & operated company for over 90 years is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the accounts receivable functions and ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounts receivable processes and activities
• Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions
• Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and other irregularities.
• Prepare and send invoices to customers
• Enter, update and retrieve information for credit applications.
• Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies
• Generate financial reports related to accounts receivable
• Maintain accurate records of transactions
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Collection calls and/or emails to customers completed timely and in a professional manner resolving disputes and questions and researching discrepancies.
